Our energy grid is changing: decentralised energy producers are feeding in green electricity and tapping into renewable energy sources. Infrastructure projects of this magnitude require a great deal of planning and strong companies that take a holistic approach to this task and ensure safety during expansion through innovation and industrial production.
FUCHS room cells and switch houses are designed as self-supporting structures. The prefabricated roof is made of waterproof concrete with a surrounding parapet and rain outlet. The monolithic cable cellar or concrete floor can be designed as an oil drip tray. From compact stations to walk-in room cells in modular design with variable floor plans and technical equipment, we manufacture the structures for all requirements on a customised basis.
We manufacture the non-accessible compact substations in standardised 3-chamber or 1-chamber versions (with lowered partitions). They provide space for medium and low-voltage switchgear as well as for a transformer (up to 1,250 kVA) and metering equipment.
The stations are equipped with an integrated cable cellar (h i.L. 65 cm), which also serves as a foundation.
We deliver the station to the construction site ready for connection; only the installation and commissioning need to be carried out on site.
Our room cells and compact stations have successfully passed the arc fault test. They are safe for operating personnel and the public alike.
Foundation troughs for outdoor transformers must be liquid-tight, impermeable and weather-resistant. We already fulfil very special requirements such as various linings and installations/structures in the factory.
Equipment and scaffolding foundations are usually required in large quantities when remodelling or building new substations. This is why prefabricated parts are particularly suitable.
Our noise barriers are developed from precast concrete elements. They consist of a concrete base layer and a layer of single-grain concrete in front of it. The single-grain concrete layer facing the noise source absorbs the sound. The concrete wall acts as a shield. FUCHS noise barriers can be adapted to the surroundings by means of wall gradients or colouring, or can be made eye-catching with special design elements and patterns.
In cable networks, FUCHS shaft systems act as pull-through, connecting and branching shafts. We offer cable ducts with cover plates in various load classes.
Emergency basins such as the FUCHS Presidio, extinguishing water tanks and separator systems for light liquids form the basis for a safe environment at transformer substations.
Water meter chambers house important fittings and pipework for the supply of fresh water. They are customised to meet the necessary requirements and can be completely dismantled at the factory.
We supply fully equipped pumping stations according to the required flow rates and heads - including pumps, pipes and fittings.
The modular, near-surface infiltration system FUCHS AgilDrain is characterised by its flexible, simple and expandable design.
We are also happy to offer you small biological wastewater treatment plants in a two or three-chamber design.
